Cabbage Adai


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rice

  • ¼ cup toor dal

  • ¼ cup chana dal

  • 1 cup finely chopped cabbage

  • 2-3 green chilies, chopped

  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • Curry leaves

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil for cooking

Instructions:

  1. Soak rice, toor dal, and chana dal together for 3-4 hours.

  2. Grind them coarsely with water to make a thick batter.

  3. Add chopped cabbage, onions, green chilies, curry leaves, and salt to the batter.

  4. Heat a tawa, pour a ladleful of batter, and spread it thickly.

  5. Drizzle oil around the edges and cook until golden brown on both sides.

  6. Serve hot with chutney or jaggery.
